Welcome to Mountain Rides.

By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Reservations & Booking

All bookings must be made in advance through our website, phone, or email.

A valid credit card or deposit may be required to confirm your reservation.

Prices are quoted based on service details (date, time, location, and group size). Additional fees may apply for changes or extra time.

 

2. Payment & Cancellations

Full payment is due prior to or at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations:

More than 7 days before the scheduled service: Full refund

3–6 days before: 50% refund

Less than 72 hours before: Non-refundable

No-shows or failure to appear at the scheduled time will be charged the full amount.

3. Service Use & Conduct

Passengers are expected to behave respectfully and follow driver instructions at all times.

No smoking or illegal substances are permitted in the vehicle.

Alcohol may be permitted for passengers 21+ in compliance with North Carolina law. Mountain Rides reserves the right to refuse service if behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful.

Any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers will be the responsibility of the booking party.

4. Safety & Liability

Seat belts must be worn at all times where available.

Mountain Rides and its drivers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

While we make every effort to arrive on time, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or circumstances beyond our control.

In the event of vehicle breakdown, a replacement vehicle or refund will be provided at Mountain Rides’ discretion.

5. Changes to Service

Mountain Rides reserves the right to substitute vehicles of equal or greater capacity if necessary.

Requested changes to a reservation (time, route, number of passengers) are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

6. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations or service interruptions due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, accidents, or government restrictions.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in Buncombe County, NC.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Mountain Rides, we understand that plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for our transportation services.

1. Standard Cancellation Policy

7+ days before service: Full refund of any payments made.

3–6 days before service: 50% refund of the total booking cost.

Less than 72 hours before service: Non-refundable.

No-shows: If you or your group fail to appear at the scheduled pickup time and location, the full booking amount will be charged.

2. Modifications to Reservations

Requests to change the date, time, or number of passengers must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled service.

Changes are subject to vehicle availability and may result in additional fees.

3. Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances

In the event of severe weather, road closures, or other conditions beyond our control, Mountain Rides may reschedule your trip at no additional charge or issue a full refund at our discretion.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor.
